So very forged. The email purports to be from someone at Classmates.com, when in fact the sender IP 83.174.245.161 resolves to Russia. Look at that phone number they want you to call if you are in the US. Awesome, right? Hey, bad guys--our phone numbers don't look like that! We kind of wish Classmates.com could sic some lawyers on the real sender, but that's the problem with these overseas scams--jurisdiction.

These guys want to provide degree verification and official transcriptions for their degrees in writing. This email represents a diploma mill, and if you are looking for a degree in something, there are thousands of legitimate colleges, universities and certification programs across the United States to choose from. The only catch is you have to actually GO to school. A real diploma isn't one you BUY. And we don't think "non-accreedited" degrees are particularly prestigious either!
