Mine was for Construction, I posted my resume with career builder and this is. the only type of crap i have received. I have a friend in Potsdam and I am going to have them checked out and file a complaint against them with NYS A G's office. Just for fun! I just received a similar message, except now the alias is "Claire Hunter," who is allegedly with "Munson Search Consultants." I was also directed to Executivesearchonline.com after clicking the link in the e-mail. The indication was that it would to direct me to "professional or executive career[s] in the Engineering sector or other fields, with pay between $50,000 and $250,000." I was asked to "update my resume." Is anyone else on the major sites, like Monster or Careerbuilder? I'm curious if one of them is allowing scammers disguised as legit companies access to our contact info.

Most of those scams are blazingly clear if you look at the site. They use bright colors, usually highlight, and the print often shows a happy camper that is youg, smiling, laughing, even. But they are never doing anything. So, click them off. I actually paid good money for Resume Rabbit because I misread the fine print because I'm partially blind. I got one legitimate ad, then I got a barage of the others. BBW
