From the person who reported offer: I am assuming this is a fraud?  I responded to a recent ad for Mystery Shoppers in the West Central Tribune newspaper, Willmar, MN, and this was the emailed response I received.

It doesn't look good when a company in the UK is soliciting mystery shopper jobs to people in the United States. Especially when the best they can do is ask you to respond to a free Live.com email address and don't have a Web site or use a corporate email address like any sensible company would. We suspect that like most of the "mystery shopper" offers that come our way, this one's going to ask you to "evaluate" money transfer services such as Western Union or Moneygram by sending money to them, for which they will reimburse you. Yeah, sure they will.

Any checks they send will most likely bounce. Most banks allow you to withdraw a portion when you deposit a check, so be warned that if they send you money first, it's probably not going to clear and we expect they'll harrass you until you are finally pressured into wiring money over. Is this what you had in mind when looking for work? We didn't think so.

COMMISSION PER ASSIGNMENT: $250 Per Assignment.

JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be hired to conduct an all expenses
paid survey and evaluation exercises on behalf of Continental Group, LLC.

Your job will be to evaluate and measure quality of retail service or gather
specific information about products and services. As our mystery shopper posing as
normal customers, you will expected to perform specific tasks—such as purchasing a
product or using a service.

We presently have a couple of outstanding contracts, which means you will be
directed to outlets, firms and corporate bodies to report on your experience by
buying a product or using a service.

PLEASE NOTE: You will be provided funds in advance for any upcoming survey via
CERTIFIED CHECK to cover expenses.

You do not require any special skills for this opening,  however in order to apply
