Peter: Website link is to a legitimate site, it appears. But, response is to a yahoo email, not a corporate email. Is sales representative processing phony checks?

PhishBucket: It's very common for money transfer/mule phishers to impersonate companies overseas when advertising to job seekers in English-speaking counries. They're hoping the job seeker will assume they are one in the same. Peter is spot-on with his observation of the free Yahoo email address instead of a corporate one. Trust NO employer or recruiter who asks you to respond to a free Web email account. Legitimate employers know better!

We believe the 'rep' part of the job title means the candidate would be asked to complete sales transactions by accepting (bogus) checks on behalf of their customers in the United States. It's getting really old for us. Look through our money transfer/mule offers and you'll understand. The checks are manufactured by other mules who think they're creating payroll checks, and the information used on the checks is probably from real people whose identities were stolen or otherwise compromised.

Scary stuff if all you're after is a JOB. This doesn't look safe to us at all.
