Shame on people who send out email like this. It's so unprofessional it HURTS. Even if it's legit, how would you know? We think you should ignore messages that don't tell you anything. If the company is for real, then they ought to spend some time learning how to write a real message and say who they are. If they're going to be ambiguous, then silence on your end is probably the best way to deal with them.

So is the only reason we listed it? Are we merely suspicious, or is there actually something wrong with the message aside from lack of info? The answer is: there's no opt-out (not that you could trust the opt-out), which makes it illegal, unsolicted, and thus spam. The sender has broken the law.
