Peter: Usually they claim it's the CEO recruiting for these companies- i guess he's busy and delegated the authority to the Board of Directors. This may be a spoof of a real company.

PhishBucket: This is not how legitimate companies hire people. And if they do, they never talk about it! Not sure why they trail off after they tell you they want a long term friend. We don't usually look for jobs to make friends, do we? Isn't it usually about earning a living?

Since they want you to respond to a Gmail address and work in 'accounts receivable' as a 'financial assistant,' there's little doubt this is fraudulent. If they were legitimate, they'd use their corporate address, write a professional job listing, and give you enough information to research their company and figure out if it's even a good fit. But they're not legitimate. A real employer isn't stupid enough to recruit like this.

If you send them information about yourself there's a high probability you're going to lose money AND your identity in the process.
