The grammar, spelling and punctuation problems in this offer are subtle. Not everyone might notice them, although at the end of paragraph 3 they completely trail off and don't end the sentence. Oops. Spellcheck no workie? So if the grammar isn't strong enough to convince you this is fake, what's a job seeker to do?

Well, look at how the very first thing they talk about in their offer is how legal it is. TOTALLY, dude! God SAID, man! ...Ahem... You can usually bet that if they're putting this kind of emphasis on the legality of their offer, it must be completely illegitimate. And we're pretty sure God didn't put His stamp of approval on this.

Read it out loud. Have you ever heard a native-English speaker talk like this? Do you think that just because they claim to be based in Ireland that they ARE? Could it be that this sender is foreign and PRETENDING to be from Ireland? You betcha! We especially admire how they "admit" to being in countries like Darfur, Iraq and other "war torn" countries (paragraph 2), but then claim to be based in Ireland (paragraph 3), and end the letter by listing themselves in London!

They go on to ask you for a bunch of discriminatory information (gender, marital status, nationality, occupation) with no regard for the law, which states they can't do that. Any genuine employer would know that.

It's a money transfer/mule scam. They want to either launder stolen funds through you or steal your money. Maybe both. And they will definitely make use of your personally identifiable info, whether you get involved or not. All you gotta do is fill out that form. Even if you never talk to them again, you see how you're still at risk?

This offer is like the plague. Run for the hills!
