Well, we can say with certainty that the FBI would NEVER send a message like this to anyone. Why? It's simply unprofessional. Look at the From line! Look at the contents of the message? Does anything about this strike you as really being from the FBI? We don't have a ton of header information, but even there it shows an origin of Germany.Message text: Subject: OFFICIAL WARNING FROM THE FBI FOREIGN REMITTANCE/TELEGRAPHIC DEPT From: "F.B.I OFFICE" <robert @ fbi.gov> Date: Thu, July 15, 2010 8:36 pm It has been discovered that your inheritance/winning/check compensation FUND was about being transferred to an unknown account under your name. This attempt was perpetrated by someone who claims to be working for you, and that you have given him due authority to have the FUND moved to the new account. Carefully Read The Attachment file.
