Home Suspicious/Fraudulent Offers Online Auction Job Offers

Swiss Alarms Systems Inc.
Monday, 23 August 2010
We didn't get headers on this reported offer, so we can't put any stock into whether the sender's email domain, ultimatedreamjob.net, is real or fake. But the site they want you to visit, swiss-alarms.com, is hosted by Google, and isn't even built yet!

The offer itself is a money transfer/mule scheme, masked as an online auction job. Rest assured, there's nothing legitimate about it. In the end, you will lose money from your account, your identity, and if the bank doesn't freeze your account, you could still end up being charged by the police for muling. Let's see you get a job after THAT'S on your permanent record.

Just a couple common sense reminders:
-- you should never accept a job that entails using YOUR bank account to process checks. Not even one you create expressly for that purpose. Bad, bad, BAD!
-- you should never accept a job when the person soliciting you doesn't even want to meet with or talk to you. If they aren't discerning about who they hire, chances are pretty good they're just out to scam as many people as they can!
